Iron sulfides Fe1?xS are electrochemically reduced in chloride medium, at pH=0.2 according to a dissolution process. The coulometric measurement of the Fe(III) amount in the solid and the evaluation of the Fe2+ concentration in the solution after electroreduction lead to the determination of the stoechiometry on an amount of solid lower than one milligramme.  相似文献

The self-broadening coefficients and the intensities of 29 lines in the nu(1) band of cyanogen chloride ((35)Cl(12)C(14)N) have been measured at high resolution in the range 699-736 cm(-1), using a tunable diode-laser spectrometer. The collisional widths and most of the intensities are obtained by fitting Voigt and Rautian profiles to the measured shapes of the lines. From the analysis of the line intensities we determine the absolute strength as well as the Herman-Wallis factors for the nu(1) band. A semiclassical calculation of the self-broadening coefficients, performed by considering the main electrostatic interactions only, has provided larger results than the experimental data. R-irniine is a natural 2-alkylpyrrolidine alkaloid extracted from Arisarum vulgare Targ., a species belonging to the Araceae family known in Morocco for its toxicity. Cytotoxic and electrophysiological studies of this compound on human MRC-5 fibroblasts were carried out. Cytotoxic potential of R-irniine was detected on MRC-5 fibroblasts at 40 microg/mL. We carried out the electrophysiological study of this compound on MRC-5 cells by using the technique of patch-clamp in "Whole cell" configuration. R-irniine showed no effect on the outward potassium current of the MRC-5 fibroblasts.  相似文献

Intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) is known to be the reference tool for preoperative vessel lesion assessments and for endovascular therapy planning. Nevertheless, IVUS echograms only provide subjective information about vessel wall lesions. Since changes in the vascular tissue stiffness are characteristic of vessel pathologies, catheter-based endovascular ultrasound elastography (EVE) has been proposed in the literature as a method for outlining the elastic properties of vessel walls. In this paper, the Lagrangian Speckle Model Estimator (LSME) is formulated for investigations in EVE, i.e., using a polar coordinate system. The method was implemented through an adapted version of the Levenberg-Marquardt minimization algorithm, using the optical flow equations to compute the Jacobbian matrix. The theoretical framework was validated with simulated ultrasound rf data of mechanically complex vessel wall pathologies. The results, corroborated with Ansys finite element software, demonstrated the potential of EVE to provide useful information about the heterogeneous nature of atherosclerotic plaques.  相似文献

The observed 511 keV emission from the galactic bulge could be due to very light (MeV) annihilating dark matter particles. To distinguish this hypothesis from conventional astrophysical sources, we study dwarf spheroidals in the region observed by the International Gamma-Ray Astrophysics Laboratory/SPI such as Sagittarius. As these galaxies have comparatively few stars, the prospects for 511 keV emission from standard astrophysical scenarios are minimal. The dwarf spheroidals do, however, contain copious amounts of dark matter. The observation of 511 keV emission from Sagittarius should be a "smoking gun" for MeV dark matter.  相似文献

We study the nonlinear rheological behavior and the microscopic particle dynamics for a colloidal glass, to see whether recently developed models for driven glassy systems can be applied to predict the rheology. Qualitatively, all the findings predicted by the models can be retrieved in our system. Notably, the viscosity decreases strongly with the shear rate. Since it is difficult to predict non-Newtonian viscosities of colloidal systems due to long-ranged hydrodynamic interactions, this shows the promise of this approach for predicting flow behavior. In addition, the measurements allow us to relate the microscopic diffusion dynamics to the macroscopic viscosity of the system.  相似文献
